Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP)
Standard Operating Procedures support the Army Lodging Standards and
the everyday task of all lodging staff members in meeting the
expectations of our guests. While Army Lodging operations assist in the
sustainment of a wide range of installation missions, the foundations
of successful hotel operation remain consistent.
Inherent in the Army Lodging mission to "Provide quality lodging and
hospitality services for America's Army" is the need to provide instant
identity and credibility for our hotels through a generally recognized
Army Lodging Brand. This brand provides installation lodging activities
the advantages of a large organization and set standards and methods of
operation established by the chain as set out in out in the Army
Lodging Standards and Standard Operating Procedures. This leads
travelers to expect Front Office and Housekeeping services, as well as
facilities depicting Maintenance and Supply as well as Force Protection
conscientious, consistent with other Army Lodging hotels elsewhere.
Additionally improved name recognition efforts result in greater market
appeal and thus better financial performance as evidenced through
Accounting, Night Audit processes and Automation.
The
Army Lodging Standard Operating Procedures supplement the range of
other Army Lodging brand services to include management training,
consolidated purchase programs and advertising. Currently presented in
draft form as a result of installation and major command development
these methods of operation are provided for your advance information
and use.
